Cut into the Blue Lagoon

I feel a little better about my soap now. But not that much though, because the waves are missing (I guess its the calm blue lagoon). I really expected the center to be a bit more consistent like it was with my Strawberry cream soap. Oh well can't win them all. The soap is still pretty wet. I added the amount of water I would for a regular batch and then at trace I added in the oat milk. I should have subtracted the water. It will take this soap a bit longer to cure. I think this is the perfect candidate for my Fan experiment. I will weigh each bar and half I will leave to dry normally and the other half I will put in front of a large fan. I will weigh them each day and see what difference there might be.

That's a very cool looking soap. Kinda reminds me of the night sky and the moon. Funneling is great fun!

Sha-Marie, I think it is SOOOO beautiful! I think anyone who makes soap can appreciate how pretty (and NOT easy) something like this is!

Are you ready for Thanksgiving??? I have got to fight the crowds after work at the grocery store and then come home and put the dust bunnies in a cage until company leaves! Yikes!

Renee :)

Thank you Lomond you helped my muse along. Your soaps are so creative.

Oh Ragtree I got lucky because I had an excuse to take off an extra day. My boy doesn't have school today so I am home today. I also live in such a small town that there are no crowds. But there are also not many places to shop either.

Oh, your soap is beautiful. Mine hardly ever (maybe never) turn out the way I expected them to. I'll be disappointed with them but others like them so I guess it is ok.
